Cancer Prevention
Education
Educational programs are a key component of the services we
provide at Hope Cancer Resources. The Cancer Prevention
Education Program was created to increase awareness of
high-risk behaviors, early warning signs and symptoms of
cancer, and cancer prevention methods.
The program aims to lessen the overall
burden of cancer in Northwest Arkansas. We have certified
health educators who provide free cancer prevention
education to employers, schools, churches, businesses and
civic organizations in our community. Prevention education
includes sun safety and skin wellness, informational
seminars on the basics of cancer and tobacco prevention.
For more information or to set up a cancer education
seminar, please email
support@hopecancerresources.org or contact Hannah
Edwards, CPT, CES, CTTS, Director of Wellness Services at

Our Cancer Prevention Education Program is supported in part
by a grant from the Cancer Challenge, the Hope Cancer
Resources Foundation and corporate and individual donations. |
