Hope Cancer Resources Announces Leadership Changes to Strengthen Mission and Sustainability

Springdale, AR (December 10, 2024) – Hope Cancer Resources is proud to announce two key leadership changes that will enhance its ability to serve cancer patients and their families in Northwest Arkansas. Gay Prescott, CFRE has been named Vice President of Philanthropy to focus on Hope Cancer Resources’ Foundation’s endowment, while Jamie Dietrich, MBA has been promoted to Vice President of Development & Marketing to oversee fundraising strategy and branding initiatives for Hope Cancer Resources.
With more than 20 years of experience in development and communications, Gay has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to supporting those affected by cancer. Her career has included roles as Program Manager at the Cancer Support Home and Marketing Manager for the Northwest Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute. Since joining Hope Cancer Resources, Gay has led fundraising and communications efforts, solidifying her reputation as a trusted advocate for the organization’s mission.
Jamie brings extensive experience in fundraising and strategic marketing, developed through roles at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, Sam Houston State University, Montgomery County Food Bank, and Northwest Arkansas Food Bank. Her proven ability to cultivate donor relationships, manage development initiatives, and implement innovative marketing strategies has been instrumental in securing critical resources. Since joining Hope Cancer Resources as Director of Philanthropy, Jamie has strengthened donor relationships, positioning her to drive growth and broaden the organization’s community impact in her new role.

Jamie will lead the Development team with our continued focus on donors, sponsorships, grants, and events. These changes, effective January 1, 2025, support Hope Cancer Resources’ mission to provide  compassionate, professional cancer support and education in the Northwest Arkansas region today and tomorrow.
