Cancer Prevention Education

At Hope Cancer Resources, we believe that cancer prevention starts with awareness, education, and action. Our Cancer Prevention Education Program is designed to empower individuals and communities with the knowledge and tools to reduce their cancer risk and make healthier lifestyle choices.

Hero BG

Our program provides free, evidence-based educational presentations to groups across Northwest Arkansas.

These sessions are led by certified health educators and are available to employers, schools and colleges, churches and faith-based groups, civic organizations and local businesses. Each presentation is tailored to your audience and can be delivered on-site or virtually.

Topics We Cover

Sun Safety & Skin Wellness

Learn how to protect your skin from UV damage and reduce the risk of skin cancer.

Tobacco Prevention

Understand the risks of tobacco use and secondhand smoke, and explore prevention strategies for youth and adults.

Cancer Basics & Early Detection Awareness

Get familiar with how cancer develops, the importance of early detection, and screening recommendations by age and risk factor.

Many cancers can be prevented or caught early with lifestyle changes and regular screenings.

By delivering education directly to community groups, our program helps people make informed choices and access resources before a diagnosis occurs. Our efforts support a healthier, more cancer-aware region by reducing preventable risk factors and encouraging proactive health behaviors.
