When a cancer patient visits their oncologist for the first time, it can be a source of great stress and anxiety.

Our licensed oncology social workers are available to meet with patients and caregivers to determine challenges that may be faced during treatment and address those that can be lessened or avoided with our assistance. All too often, the physical effects of cancer are only a part of the whole picture. Our social workers are advocates who may be called on as often as necessary on the journey toward recovery.
