Job Summary

The Wellness Specialist coordinates day-to-day operations of the Wellness Center for Hope and provides high-quality, survivorship-centered care to patients, caregivers, and employees. This role focuses on personalized wellness programming, behavior modification, and administrative support to promote overall health and recovery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized fitness training and wellness support to clients

  • Develop individualized workout and wellness plans

  • Coach clients in behavior and lifestyle modifications (stress, sleep, nutrition)

  • Coordinate wellness programming, classes, and contract instructors

  • Track participation, complete data entry, and maintain accurate records

  • Maintain wellness equipment and assist with referrals and scheduling

  • Support wellness education and community outreach efforts


What You’ll Bring

  • Commitment to the mission and values of Hope Cancer Resources

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Certified Personal Trainer, Exercise Physiologist, or ability to obtain

  • CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

  • Interest in health, wellness, and survivorship care


Position Details

  • Full-time, exempt position

  • Reports to the Wellness Manager

  • Flexible schedule required

  • Physical role involving standing, lifting, and demonstrating exercises
