Personal Training

Hope Cancer Resources’ Personal Training sessions are led by accredited fitness professionals such as Certified Personal Trainers and a Cancer Exercise Specialist.

Personal Training is offered one-on-one or in a small group class setting. The goals of personal training is to provide safe and effective workouts designed specific to each individual or group. Sessions are 45-60 minutes long and include exercises to improve:

Mobility
Flexibility
Muscle Strength
Balance
Stamina

The Wellness Center for Hope gym is equipped with a variety of machines and miscellaneous equipment so that workouts continue to stay unique and fun! The average duration of personal training sessions are 4 months long or whenever the participant reaches 16 total sessions. Sessions can be extended if both the trainer and patient decide it’s in the best interest of the patient.

How It Works

The patient will receive a folder with each workout-plan printed along with instructions and pictures to demonstrate. Participants are required to have a completed Liability Waiver and Physician-approved medical release before starting.
