Our Story

Our vision is to provide hope and enhance the quality of life by expanding prevention, wellness, and comprehensive cancer support services in our region.

In 2009, two local nonprofits, NARTI and HOPE, Inc., came together to form Hope Cancer Resources, uniting their missions to provide compassionate, professional cancer support, and education in the Northwest Arkansas region today and tomorrow.

At Hope, we walk alongside cancer patients and their families with care, compassion, and practical support. Our experienced team includes licensed oncology social workers, certified tobacco treatment specialists, and a cancer exercise specialist. We offer transportation to treatment, personalized education, and financial assistance for prescriptions, dental care, and gas cards, all at no cost to patients. We believe healing involves more than just medical care. Emotional well-being is vital, so we provide individual, family, and group counseling with licensed oncology social workers offering everything from a listening ear to ongoing support.

Education and prevention are key to reducing cancer risk. We work with schools, churches, businesses, and civic groups to share vital information about sun safety, tobacco prevention and cessation, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Our Wellness Center for Hope is designed to enhance the quality of life in survivors and caregivers by restoring physical activity, optimizing nutrition and healthy weight, and developing healthy behaviors and lifestyles.

At Hope Cancer Resources, we are more than a service provider, we are a source of strength and support for every person affected by cancer. Because no one should face cancer alone. The programs of Hope Cancer Resources are funded in part through grants, special events,
corporate and individual donations as well as the Hope Cancer Resources Foundation.
